15 Station Road, Marple


We purchased 15 Station Road with one of our business partners in September 2016 for £153,000 after the previous sale had fallen through leaving the vendors anxious for a quick sale. Using our power team we were able to line up finance quickly acquire the property for a good price.

The property was a 2 bedroom terraced in need of modernisation and was in a condition we would associate with being lived in by an elderly person. We planned to purchase the property and convert the large front bedroom into a smaller double room and a single room creating a 3 bedroom terraced as well as modernising the property with a new kitchen, bathroom and redecoration throughout.

Using our talented construction team we completed the project in 6 months and sold the property for £250,000 in February 2017. The property was sold to an older couple who liked the properties proximity to local amenities as they didn't drive. As we marketed the property with our local estate agent early the couple were able to choose the finish and decorative style.


As with every project in property you always learn something new and this project was no different. We realised the importance of having the right power team in place, working with people you trust and how vital project management is in terms of scheduling all the different trades to work effectively together.
